We are fortunate to have the services of peripatetic music staff for brass and woodwind lessons.
At present the School Nurse appointed to our school is Lynn Hampton.
We are also able to call on the services of several advisory teachers to advise us with ICT and Special Needs. The Department of Education and Children employs Educational Psychologists, Occupational Therapists, Speech Therapists as well as a team of advisers.
As part of the school’s citizenship curriculum, provision is made for all the children in KS2 to have a half hour lesson of the Manx Language, including culture, stories and events each week with Mr Ayres.
Currently, parents who do not want their children to learn about the Isle of Man’s customs, traditions and language as part of the designated Manx language lesson must write to request that their child opts out of lessons.
