Arbory School is a busy place and our children are involved in so
many exciting and wonderful activities, both in the classroom,
out in the school grounds and in the local community. We will try
and keep you all updated as much as we can, through posts on this

Year 4 have been learning about the Swedish Christmas Celebration St Lucia Day. St Lucia Day is celebrated each year on 13th December and is the start of the Christmas Season for Swedish families. Many schools close early so children can dress up as St Lucia and Star Boys to take part in procession…
This week, Year 6 have been writing a podcast about the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand, and today began to turn their words into sound with the help of Mr. Townsend, ICT Advisor from the DESC. Congratulations to Arbory School who are our Wednesday Folktastic prize winners! They were awarded the prize for their amazing folk group performance and for all Arbory's entries and enthusiasm over the past 7 years.
