Laa Columb Killey 2023 was a brilliant community event as always and is still integral to the life of Arbory School. Our children displayed beautiful art work, handwriting and crafts in the school tent and also entered classes with handiwork made at home. The children looked wonderful dressed up in Manx Fairy Tale themed fancy dress and showed it off finely in the parade from Arbory Church. The Laa Columb princess gave a lovely speech and supported the other speakers on the stage during the opening ceremony. Mrs Collister's Manx Dancers were wonderful and showed off their skills they've been practicing all year. The afternoon was a joy spending time in the tea tent, at the side shows looking at the exhibits and many Arbory children taking part in the sports. The day came to a close with a packed Ceili led by the very talented Tarroo Marroo Ceili Band, a wonderful end to a great community event.
